2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
As believers in Jesus, we need to have hope even in moments like these, and use our faith. We do not need to give into panic and fear. Please continue to pray for all those that have been affected, loved ones, friends, co-workers, and family members. Please pray for the community service people, nurses and doctors, that are working to aid those in need and the scientists and medical professionals that at laboring to find a speedy cure.
Whether we are together or not, we are deeply and truly bonded in the Spirit, and this spiritual reality only increases our desire to be with each other face to face. It even sustains our love for one another when we are apart. It is why the book of Revelation gives us this insight, The Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come.’ We are one with Jesus by the Spirit, and together, we long to be with Him.
Jesus loves you and so do I!

Upcoming Events
WELCOME!
I would like to take a moment to say thank you for visiting our webpage and to offer to you a
personal invitation to visit our church if you are looking for a new church home. I remember
when I was younger and searching for the right church, seeking God, praying, and waiting on the
Lord to reveal to me where I was to go; it was important to me then to know what God had for
me and for my family. So I identify with your heart, and want you to know that it is very
important to me as well. I believe life is a journey, and each church experience is a step in that
journey, as it has the potential to grow you in your personal relationship with Jesus
Christ and for you to discover your purpose and value in the kingdom. Everyone is important,
every life matters, and if you believe God is bringing you to our church, I will do all I can to help
you in your journey.
Jesus loves you, and so do I!

ABOUT THE PASTOR
Pastor Doug Kuster
My name is Pastor Douglas Kuster, and I have served here at Shepherd's Gate Foursquare Church as senior pastor for 20+ years. I gave my life to Jesus Christ on March 10, 1991 and became a born again Christian from that day forward. Jesus is my savior, my king, my all and all, my everything, and
without Him I would be nothing. From the minute I gave my life to Christ (at age 26) my life was changed. At a most accelerated pace, I grew very rapidly in the Lord, starting with serving as Youth Pastor, then as Associate Pastor, Assistant Pastor, and lastly appointed by the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel to serve this congregation as a licensed and ordained Senior Pastor.
My life verse is Jeremiah 29:11 "Behold I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans of good and not evil, to give you a hope and a future." This verse is my motivation for anyone who comes to our church, God has plans, and a hope and future for every person, and I find great fulfillment in helping them discover what those are.
I am happily, blissfully in love with my wife, Trisha, and by the blessings of God, we have recently celebrated 25+ years of marriage. (and are praying for 25 more). I have three daughters, Jennifer, Mariah, and Trinity and am also a grandpa of some awesome grand-children!
I love the Bible! King Josiah is my favorite character in the Bible, and my favorite book of the Bible is Proverbs. I love praise and worship and have played bass guitar since I was 13. I count it a real gift to get to play for the Lord each Sunday in our praise teams. I am a computer enthusiast. (I love PC gaming) and I enjoy watching sci-fi, kung-fu movies, nature shows, and anything with history, air-conditioning and coffee...oh did I say coffee?
Honestly though, mostly I enjoy people, "every-one has a story" and if you give me a few moments of your life, I would love to hear yours and share mine (with coffee, of course)!
